Spring Puked...

...and it landed right in front of my house.

When I walked out the front door today my first thought was: "Hey, Spring just threw up all over right here!"

'right here' being the square dirt patch in the sidewalk in front of my house.

I though it would be nice to share this bit of Spring with you.

Here are some (not very good) pictures of Spring's vomit.

Spring looks great on your lawn! We don't have any flowers in our yard just lots of Meyer lemons (which I love) and dog & cat poop (which I loathe! especially since we don't own any of the offending animals).

leata and silly: I wish all puke looked like that too.

edgy: hope my flowers make you hopeful for spring. Also, I am so glad I am not living where there is snow

bezerk: I too have a similar problem with poop--but I don't think people want to see a picture. Try chili powder, I hear that is supposed to discourage animals from leaving unwanted presents on your lawn.

I am hopeful, because we do have some green sprigs poking out of the ground in those areas where snow has melted.

But what is this chili powder thing you speak of?

edgy: I am told that if you sprinkle chili powder on your lawn it will discourage animals from pooping in the areas where the powder is. Dogs seem to always leave their poop in the same area of my lawn--why their owners aren't scooping it up is what makes me REALLY mad--I sprinkled some chili powder out there a few days ago. Hopefully it will work, because I am sick of scooping up poop when I don't even own a dog.
