Our Second...

Everywhere I look it seems like people are having their second baby. Or pregnant with their second baby. Or a few months from having their second baby. Or just had their second baby.

Foxy J, First Neighbors, Hypnobirthing Friends, My Other Sis-in-Law, Gwyenth Paltrow, The Duganators....

It's making me really....frustrated. See we want to be having a second baby right about now, but no such luck.

So, I am sad and frustrated that we can't seem to make a second baby. I'm kind of upset, but you know I'm ok, just a little sad.

Then I see this on CNN.com.

WHATWHATWHATWHAT?!Britney Spears is pregnant with her second baby?!?!

Now I just feel like I am being mocked.

PS
I know this is old news. I've just been unable to get out timely posts lately. Sorry.
PPS
Congratulations to all my friends and blog friends who have, or will soon have, their second babies.

I find that I am currently surrounded by firsts, and I'm not even married yet!

Actually, I don't mind in the least. Being a bridesmaid this past weekend cured me of that for the time being.

But good luck!

You're right. It seems unfair and against nature that Britney Spears is just allowed to pump out trailer trash at the drop of a hat while really nice people who know and care about carseats are having to wait.

I'm sure everything will be fine though, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

LS, I was pretty disgusted by the Britney Spears news too.

And I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, too.

Thanks for the support girls.

Glad to see that I am not alone in thinking Ms. Spears should no longer reproduce.

Maybe our babies are up in heaven hanging out and playing together, not even realizing that their mommies are ready for them and getting impatient!

I hear ya though. After a year of trying I've been a bit discouraged myself. But, all in it's own time, right? Or at least hopefully the Lord's time...I mean, he knows what's going on, right?

I have MULTIPLE friends who got pregnant the very week they went off birth control. How the heck does that happen?? cr

I'm in the same boat. I just get nervous about my first one getting all spoiled and self-obsessed if there isn't a second close enough to curb her in. It's pretty frustrating.
Whenever people ask us when we are going to have a second we reply "I don't know what's wrong.. we kiss and kiss but can't seem to get any babies!" Darn busybodies!

I wish it worked out that people who wanted babies got them and people who were on birth control didn't. I will send all my good vibes your way!

The real question is: will there be another statue to commemorate Britney's second birthing experience?

Good luck getting pregnant. Let it be a girl--as long as your second child is no more than a couple years younger than Little Dude, our second arranged marriage should work out just fine.

i am more surrounded by the just married, or about to be marrieds, not babies yet. it seems i am always a bit of a late bloomer.

*sigh* someone needs to go and tie brittney's tubes. that woman has no right to reproduce!

For what it's worth, my nearest sibling and I are ten years apart, and we turned out OK. (And we're very close, actually.)

Not that I think it will take any of you all that long to have your second kid, but don't stress if it takes longer than you planned; your kids will be fine.

Just out of curiosity, Katya, are you older or younger?

I just got an email from a friend of mine from high school. She's my age, but got married several years before me. Anyways, she just had her fourth. I actually didn't feel jealous of that one.
