The One Where I Make Excuses
Some of you out there are probably wondering: "HEY!!! Where the HECK is my LDOTFMOTNY letter?!!! Geesh it's already March! Those Thteeds are so lazy and slow and late!"
I am sorry you do not have it yet. You can blame our printer. I know I am.
The problem should be fixed soon and hopefully we will get them mailed out by the end of the week.
I hope you can bear the anticipation and stop being mad at us.

I've been thinking exactly that--word for word--for the last few days and meant to email you about it.

I would like to add that this is only the latest printer problem we've encountered. We really thought we were going to get it out on time this year.
I've been thinking about this since your Staples post.
Silly: Doing the LDOTFMOT always results in far more trips to Staples than I ever care to make.
Yipee! No wonder you guys get later and later. It's more elaborate every year!
