Deliciousness

Just discovered a bit of deliciousness today and I feel that it would be wrong to not share it with you.

That dish of homemade lemon curd in your fridge, the one you made the other night from some of your home grown lemons, well take that out and mix a spoonful or two of it into a serving of plain yogurt.

Trust me, it will be delicious.

A bit of creamy lemon heaven.

I think I'll go have some more right now.

(If you do not currently have some homemade lemon curd in your fridge, come on over to my house, I'd be more than happy to share this deliciousness with you.)

Funcooker

Did you watch 30 Rock last Thursday? (You should have, it was hilarious!)

Was I the only person that thought: “Hey! That Funcooker, personal pocket microwave is actually a pretty good idea, someone should totally make that.”

Well, turns out someone did.

I think my favorite line of copy is: “Take the world’s smallest microwave anywhere.”

And you know what? You can take it anywhere! It’s got a handle! Awesome.

It, however, does not have a ham button.
But I bet they're working on that.

Pretty Party

I threw a party for a good friend this past weekend--it was a lot of work and very exhausting, but I think the party was a success, or, at least, that's what everyone told me.

When I asked my friend what sort of party she wanted she just told me, ‘a pretty party.’ Which she then said was sort of a given since I was the one throwing the party--what a nice compliment! Though I must say that I do not often get the chance to throw pretty parties. With two boys our birthday party themes do not generally involve pretty things. But I think this party did actually turn out ‘pretty.’

Here are a few pictures.
